My Abby

Despite the impish incident described in the post below, I adore my Abby and find joy in her every day. Tonight before bed, she really wanted to give the baby a kiss, a hug, and a pat (via my belly!). She asked in her prayer, "Please bless that Mama's tummy won't hurt too much because of the baby." She really does have a tender heart and an amazing mind. She learns quickly and remembers everything! I'm so grateful to be her mom.

Oh Bobbie! What a sad story--I would cry if Marian's curls got cut off! The pictures of her look cute though. Were they taken after the cut? There's a little curl left. Maybe you could let Katie cut Abby's hair when they're teenagers for revenge. :)

Carrie! I'm so sorry that had to happen, but I must say, your post left me crying with laughter! I agree with Martha--Katie still has some cute curls left--and she's so dang beautiful anyway!

Abby really is adorable, and at least she's honest when she's naughty. When I was talking to her on the phone, I asked her what she had been doing all day. Her response... "Well, I went to school, then came home and had lunch." pause "and then I got a little whiny." cute!!!

You're the best, most patient mom in the world. Don't our difficult children prove that? I am the mom I am today because of how difficult Joseph has been. Soph is proving to be her own little handful too. I need to gleen some of your patience.
