Big Brother Alex
Soon-to-be Big Brother Alex has moved upstairs to make room for the baby. Being currently obsessed with the color {BLUE} and with all things relating to construction and machinery, he is thrilled with his new accommodations!
We love our little guy (fondly nicknamed "The Curmudgeon" by Daddy because of his morning grumpiness). He has no idea that his world is about to be turned upside-down . . . hopefully he can roll with the punches!

I love Alex's new room! It looks like a little boy's heaven. I love the built-in bookshelf and the fact that you still have him in a crib. James is also in a crib, and I'm not planning on changing that for some time. I wish you & Alex luck on this new baby transition. It feels like we're still getting used to it, seven months later.
Also, James is looking at your pictures with me and remembering Alex. He said, "Does he have a road? Can we look at his toys (in the built-in shelf)?"
...and then, "Where are his cars?"
Because if you're a little boy with a new blue room, and you have a road on the floor, then you Must have cars. Right?
