Abby started first grade about three weeks ago and is doing great so far! Here she is at the bus stop on the first day, looking so grown-up!
She is an amazing reader and writer, which is so fun to watch as a mom. I love her drawings and cards, which she likes to leave on our pillows as surprises. We miss her during the day, but Katie and Alex seem to relish the time with Mom all to themselves.

She does look so grown up...absolutely darling, too. I'm glad she is enjoying school. Tell her to keep up the good work.
It's always more shocking to see other people's kids growing up than it is my own. I can't believe Abby's in first grade! Even though James is, too, and she's a few months older than him!
