Abby turned 6 years-old on April 18th! What a grown-up little lady she is becoming. When did our tiny, little Sweet Pea turn into a fabulous reader, inquisitive budding scientist, creative artist, social butterfly, and bouncing bundle of long-legged energy? She continues to stretch us and teach us, and we love our girl!

We celebrated on Saturday with a mommy-daughter date to Baskin-Robbins for her free ice-cream scoop, followed by a family Littlest Pet Shop party. Despite the fact that I dropped the cake on the floor while I was frosting it and one of the toys was melted by a candle, things went quite smoothly! I thought the highlight of the party was playing mouse-mouse-hamster (a variation of duck-duck-goose) outside. I'm sure Abby thought the highlight was opening her presents!

Congratulations, Abby! It looks like a fun party. Wish I could have been there...maybe another year. Good job on the terrific birthday cake, Carrie!
