The same evening my mom and Jennie left, my brother, Joe, arrived! (They even met up in the airport, since his plane from Salt Lake took them right back there. Pretty exciting!) The heat wave continued during his visit, but we had a great time together anyway.
Here we are at a Cardinals game--our first one! I thought we were all having a great time until Abby told me at the end, "This is the most boring thing we've ever done, Mom." Oh, well--you can't please everybody!
We visited the Gateway Arch, which we discovered is really hard to photograph if you want people in the picture too!
After the Arch, we took the kids to Tower Grove Park to cool off in the wading pool. Alex didn't last very long!

Tell Abbie that I feel the same way about baseball!
I feel the same way as Abbie does about watching baseball on TV, but I did enjoy going to a live Cards game. Too bad she didn't get into the spirit of the whole thing! That's pretty hilarious!

also tell her to bring a book next time - she can read for most of it and look up when everyone gets excited. it is how i handle the games!
so glad uncle joe got some time with you and vice versa ... i wouldn't mind some time with a boyer or two ... (smiles)
Wow, your baby looks just like your brother! Loved the pictures of Beaver Lake. I'd go there for vacation too-it looks wonderful!!
I don't think baseball games are that great either-- and I just noticed that Abby and I are not the only ones!
