Amateurs

We've decided to give our vegetable garden a shot this year. Since we're amateurs at best, we chose cucumber, carrots, watermelon, and pumpkin this year. Depending on how it goes, we may venture into such challenging species as the tomato next year. Here are a few pictures of us admiring our vegetable sprouts.

It is so great to see photos of your garden. There are lots of life lessons to be learned while gardening. I'm sure it will be a fun, challenging, and memorable family project. I love Abby's new bike and Katie's quote, too. Thanks for sharing...hugs and kisses to everyone!

I'm sure you'll be great gardeners. I don't think you can mess up pumpkins. . . . Never done watermelon, though--good luck!

Oh you'll love gardening! Try green beans too. They're fail-proof. Good luck keeping the kids away from the fruit long enough for it to ripen! :)
