Who needs toys . . .

. . . when you have laundry baskets?!
Abby and Katie entertained themselves this way for a good, long time on Sunday, pretending the carpet was water and the laundry basket was a boat. I got to take a ride in the boat too, which might have been pretty comfortable if I were three feet shorter! Abby is constantly in "let's pretend" mode these days, so I'm never quite sure which character I'm supposed to be at any given moment: Strawberry Shortcake? Cinderella? Big Sister? Those are my most common assignments, with Abby as Gingersnap, Princess Jasmine, or The Mother. She sure keeps us on our toes!

seriously, Kamryn sits like a half hour at a time with just a bunch of toys with her. And Kaitlyn puts her blankies and dollies in there and pushes them around the house. I love Laundry Baskets!

Ahhh! I can't believe Katie-bug is walking! I love how her hands are right ready to catch herself for a face-plant, I guess she somehow already knows that face-plants come easily to us boyers! And I loved the laundry basket picture. I hope all is well, including Luke's recovery! Love you

Cute, cute, cute!! I wish I could have been there to see your girls in action. We will plan to do some "boating" when I babysit in April...You may need to leave instructions on the role playing as I have limited exerience with Strawberry Shortcake or Gingersnap! Hope Luke has recovered from his appendectomy and his boards...what a February it's been. Love to you all!
